Register Your Vacancy with Us

In order to assist us in sourcing the most appropriate candidates it would be helpful if you could provide the information below as fully as possible. The most appealing job vacancies for candidates are those that explain why they would want to apply, what opportunity is available to them and what is expected from them in return. This could include:

Company
Who you are, what you do, how long have you been doing it and how successful you are at what you do. Where you do it, and why you are recruiting? Why would a candidate want to join you?

The role
What will they do and what result will they be expected to achieve? What products/customers are involved?  Who will they report to, and will they work with others?

The person
What experience and skills, qualifications (if any) and accreditations do they need to perform the job? In your experience what are the characteristics they must have to succeed in this role?

The package
What range of basic salary are you offering depending on experience, i.e. what would you pay a top candidate?  What commission or bonus would be paid for achieving target, i.e On Target Earnings (OTE)? What benefits do you offer, e.g. pension, healthcare, car, home office set up, life insurance?

The location
Where is the company based and where will the candidate work and need to live? If they spend part of the time in the field and part in the office what is the approx. percentage for each?

Hales Group’s experienced consultants recognise that often some specific details of a role need to remain confidential during the recruitment process. Our team will contact you to talk through how you would like the recruitment process to be approached for your particular vacancy and agree the person specification.

Please email your job applications to people.services@halesgroup.co.uk. Once we have reviewed it, we will publish it and be in touch with you.

Sourcing Candidates

The power of the internet enables candidates to be sourced worldwide which means you don’t miss out on a highly skilled individual because of where they live. Relevant job boards are used extensively to attract suitably skilled applicants and everyone is thoroughly interviewed before being submitted to you for consideration.

All forms of social media are exploited to reach the widest possible audience for your vacancy and we have an enviable database of more than 50,000 applicants available to us at any one time.

We maintain strong links with the local press and never underestimate the value of networking. We host and attend job fairs, run employment seminars and advice forums and are considered to be a leading authority on all matters affecting local employers.

To supplement candidates sourced through these means we also retain our traditional methods which include prominent window displays in branches and public spaces, local and trade press advertising and of course referrals from our existing database of successful candidates and clients.

We understand that it is important to you that you can relax in the knowledge that Hales Group’s recruitment and selection procedures are consistent, compliant and endorsed by leading external ethical audit companies.

We utilise a range of assessments to measure a candidates aptitude, verbal reasoning, manual dexterity and software skills as applicable to each job role. These can be delivered both online and in paper form and we support all candidates’ individual needs to ensure they achieve their full potential during the application process.

Once we have provided you with a shortlist of suitable candidates we continue to manage the recruitment process for you by assisting with:

  • The interview timetable, managing the needs of your management team and the candidates
